Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to care coordinator
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping tasks
- Administer medications as per care plan instructions
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current Oregon HHA certification and CPR/First Aid
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience with elderly clients
- Reliable transportation to Portland-area client homes
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
