Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure a safe, happy home environment.
- Monitor and document daily activities and vital signs accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
