Responsibilities
- Provide personalized personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping tasks and laundry services
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current Michigan CNA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate nature with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
