Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Document care progress accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with light housekeeping and client-specific mobility support
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- New Jersey HHA certification or CNA license (required)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Clear criminal background check and TB test results
