Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Comply with agency policies and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Current Oregon HHA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Empathy and patience working with vulnerable populations
