Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Document care activities and client progress
- Comply with all healthcare regulations and agency policies
Qualifications
- NC Home Health Aide certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in home care or similar setting
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly/disabled clients
