Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients with dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and report any changes in health or mood to the RN supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and changing linens to maintain a safe environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social events to ensure their safety and independence.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to combat loneliness and improve mental well-being.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Current Washington State Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping seniors.
