Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident condition changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure resident safety protocols
- Support meal services and encourage nutritional intake
- Facilitate meaningful social engagement and recreational activities
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans and resident updates
- Maintain clean, organized resident environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with genuine passion for geriatric care
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Proficient in electronic documentation systems
