Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to ensure patient well-being
- Accurately complete electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Support patients with emotional and social needs
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and health screening
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
