Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with medical equipment operation and patient positioning
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and emotional support
- Accurately complete electronic health records (EHRs) and incident reports
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication skills and empathy for diverse patient populations
