Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patient families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in various settings
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Clear background check and negative TB/flu screen results
- Strong documentation skills and EMR proficiency
- Flexibility to work day/night shifts in Manhattan/Brooklyn
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
