Job Overview
As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients in the Tampa area.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN/LPN.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license active in Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Current State Board of Nursing verification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Experience in acute or long-term care settings is a plus.
