Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Document care activities accurately and promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients
- Transport residents between activities and appointments
- Support emotional well-being through positive interaction
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital settings
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear TB test and health screening within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to San Diego locations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
