Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care, long-term care, or specialty settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Assess patient conditions and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education on disease management and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (preferred)
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for ICU/ER positions
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical environments
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
