Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in EHR systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
