Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse units including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and Telemetry
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document electronic health records with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Provide rapid response to critical situations and emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate shift handovers and communication logs
- Precept and mentor new staff during orientation periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN license required)
- BSN preferred; ADN accepted with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications maintained
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in assigned specialty unit
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
