Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document assessments accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment regimens
- Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific compliance standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
