Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and perform EKGs and phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Sterilize equipment and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
- Coordinate patient education materials and schedule follow-up appointments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Washington state MA license and BCI/FBI clearance
