Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Administer anesthesia and monitor vital signs
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license
- 1+ years clinical experience in dental practice
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and dental terminology
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- CPR certification
