Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including examinations, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and follow-up calls
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
- Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license (Florida)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously
- High attention to detail and infection control standards
- Spanish fluency preferred
