Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take dental impressions, expose radiographs, and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient records using digital software (Epic/Dentrix experience preferred)
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Order inventory and manage supply chain for clinical operations
- Train new assistants on clinic protocols and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Exceptional communication skills and patient-centered approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
