Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient charts and digital dental records accurately
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care guidance
- Coordinate inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Maintain strict infection control standards throughout the practice
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or CDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CDA/DALEF radiology certification
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
