Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Take dental X-rays and perform preliminary examinations
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Order inventory and oversee dental supply management
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Assist in emergency dental situations
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- DEXIS/Radiography certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid CPR certification
