Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including instrument handling and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Order inventory and manage dental supply levels
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification (current)
