Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments/equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs with advanced digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for optimal efficiency
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate laboratory cases with external prosthetic specialists
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- DEXIS/Dentrix software experience required
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
