Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient intake, digital X-rays, and sterilization protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate scheduling and communication between patients and clinical team
Qualifications
- Active Alaska Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
