Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental equipment for procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments and surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and record-keeping
- Educate patients on post-treatment care
- Maintain inventory and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
