Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take dental X-rays and perform patient assessments
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record documentation
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply systems
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
- CPR certification required
