Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take accurate dental impressions and X-rays following HIPAA protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting with Dentrix/EagleSoft
- Provide chairside assistance with suctioning and instrument transfer
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credential required
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and X-ray license
- Experience with practice management software preferred
