Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical areas per OSHA standards
- Take digital X-rays and update patient records using Dentrix software
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Assist in scheduling and front desk operations as needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital X-ray and sterilization protocols
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and dental software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
