Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient charts and electronic dental records
- Coordinate scheduling and patient communication
- Order inventory and manage supply chain
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA/CDA preferred)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in dental practice
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
- Proficiency with dental software (Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Nevada state radiology license
