Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and ensure proper sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records and schedule coordination using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials while maintaining OSHA compliance
- Deliver post-procedure care instructions and patient education
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and sterilization techniques
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with practice management software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
