Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental impressions and develop radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and infection control protocols
- Coordinate inventory management for dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental software (Epic, Dentrix, or similar)
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
