Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with proficiency in digital imaging
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient clinical workflows
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and scheduling with front desk team
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant License or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry practice
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
