Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Take accurate dental radiographs and implement proper infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate lab cases and manage inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Oregon Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage anxious patients
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Valid Oregon state radiography permit
