Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Eaglesoft software
- Deliver post-op instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Coordinate with insurance companies and handle billing documentation
- Oversee inventory management and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license in Nevada required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for multi-procedure cases
- Strong knowledge of Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining calm demeanor
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
