Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and instrument maintenance per OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and digital dental software (Epic experience preferred)
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and infection-controlled operatory
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in DC
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and dental management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport abilities
- CPR certification and willingness to maintain
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
