Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument prep and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance efficiently
- Update digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligible
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in radiography techniques and OSHA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Knowledge of dental software systems (Dentrix preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and infection control discipline
