Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures under supervision
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy training provided
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Collect and process lab specimens following safety protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary – we train!
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Current BLS/CPR certification or obtain within 30 days
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
