Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Manage patient flow, digital charting, and insurance verification
- Take high-quality dental radiographs and intraoral images
- Provide chairside support during sedation procedures
- Train new dental assistants on practice protocols
- Maintain impeccable inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or New Mexico Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dental clinical software
- CPR/BLS certification (renewable within 30 days)
- Exceptional infection control knowledge and X-ray safety protocols
- Strong communication skills with Spanish fluency preferred
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
