Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and digital charting
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of dental materials
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
