Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize all instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Chart digital dental records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and appointment transitions
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography and OSHA compliance
- Exceptional chairside assisting and patient rapport skills
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid Michigan dental radiography permit
