Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record-keeping using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Capture diagnostic X-rays and intraoral images with precision
- Deliver pre/post-operative instructions and patient education
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent certification (CDA, DANB preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
