Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Implement strict infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Manage patient records and scheduling with precision
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Dental Assistant License (RDA preferred)
- CDA certification or graduate of accredited dental assisting program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- CPR/BLS certification
