- Maintain patient accounts and financial records in EMR systems
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment plans
- Stay updated on healthcare policies and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and billing regulations
