Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using advanced digital imaging and sterilization equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting systems
- Prepare treatment rooms with all necessary instruments and materials
- Take dental radiographs using modern digital X-ray technology
- Implement strict infection control protocols with provided autoclaves
- Provide chairside assistance during complex restorative procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Diploma or Associate's Degree
- Current DANB or state dental assistant certification
- 2+ years clinical experience with digital dentistry
- Proficiency in practice management software (e.g., Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Valid Wisconsin dental radiography license
