Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently
- Provide chairside assistance during complex restorative procedures
- Document patient information accurately in dental software
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Tennessee Dental Radiography license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- CPR certification (current or ability to obtain)
- Experience with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Commitment to infection control protocols and OSHA standards
