Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental X-rays and process digital radiographs
- Manage patient records and update electronic health files
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory control
- Ensure OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFCC or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR certification (current)
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
