Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic adjustments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict OSHA compliance
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision
- Manage patient flow and chairside duties efficiently
- Perform infection control protocols and maintain operatory sterility
- Update patient charts and digital records accurately
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Order supplies and manage inventory control
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and equipment
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Spanish fluency a plus for diverse patient population
