Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and ensure diagnostic image quality
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment areas with precise instrument sterilization
- Administer anesthesia monitoring and vital sign documentation
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Process digital impressions and maintain accurate dental records
- Train new staff on practice protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or DANB credentials
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instrumentation
